Like other universal remote apps

Nowhere is it specified additional hardware is needed, but it is apparent from the "working theory" section of the help page in the app that some hardware plugging into the jack is needed for signal connection, however the information on where to buy or what even to buy is non-existent... Unprofessional advertisement and a waste of time.
